It amazes me to see,
all the things i couldn't be,
for you, for me.

It amazes me greatly,
that i open my heart freely,
even without a key.

It amazes me to every extent,
all the kindness you had lent,
but never once did you /want/ to vent.

It amazes me to pent,
all these feelings i never bent,
just so i could show you that everything i did, i meant.

It amazes me how true,
i could be to you,
but it never phased you.

It amazes me how others see these things i show,
and all they seem to know,
and never did they go.

It amazes me how close i've become,
but you may think i'm so very dumb,
and all i do is sit here some.

It amazes me how strong your words are,
even when you think they didn't go so far,
but they push me so low, deeper i sink into this tar.

But what amazes me most.
Is that you seem to longer care.
It was like you were the parasite, and I was the host.
We could've made a great pair.

I wish I didn't have to give up so easily,
on this dream that seems like reality.
But so far I fear that it just can't be,


And it just amazes me.
